Nevada requires salesperson license applicants to complete:

Correct Answer

C) 120 hours of approved pre-license education

Nevada requires 120 hours of approved pre-licensing education for an original salesperson's license. The figure is not in the statute: NRS 645.343 asks only for a course in the principles, practices, procedures, law and ethics of real estate and leaves the standard to the Commission. NAC 645.435 sets it, and breaks it down as 45 hours of principles and practices, 45 hours of property law and regulation with 18 of those on the Nevada statutes, 15 hours of contract preparation and 15 hours of agency. It was 90 hours until R060-20A took effect on 29 December 2020, which is why the older figure is still widely quoted.
