Under Georgia law, an insurer must include Uninsured Motorist (UM) coverage on a personal auto policy unless the insured does what?

AVerbally declines UM at the time of application
BFiles an SR-22 with the Department of Driver Services
Rejects UM coverage in writing
DSelects only the 25/50/25 minimum liability limits

Why this is the answer

O.C.G.A. § 33-7-11(a) bars issuing or delivering an auto liability policy in Georgia unless it includes uninsured motorist coverage, and subsection (a)(3) provides that the coverage does not apply only where an insured named in the policy rejects it in writing. A verbal decline is not enough, filing an SR-22 has nothing to do with UM, and choosing minimum liability limits does not waive UM.
