What score do you need to pass the NHIE?
A scaled score of 500 out of 200 to 800. Because scaling is applied, the raw number of correct answers needed is not fixed and is not published.
How long is the NHIE?
Four hours for 200 multiple-choice questions, 25 of which are unscored pretest items.
What does the NHIE cover?
Roughly 63% building inspection and site review across the systems of a house, 25% analysis and reporting, and 12% professional responsibilities.
