North Carolina Driver License Knowledge and Traffic Signs Tests
Learn the rules of the road by driving them.
318 practice questions written from the North Carolina Driver Handbook, and eight 3D driving lessons that show where North Carolina rules differ. Make the call at the moment it matters, and see exactly what your car did.
How a lesson works
Not a quiz with pictures. A drive with a decision in it.

Real screens from the DriveQuest lessons.
The route
Eight lessons, one rule at a time
Each lesson has three scenes. Learn a scene with your coach, then drive it on your own for stars. The lessons follow the California Driver’s Handbook; each one lists what the North Carolina Driver Handbook says differently.

Why practice this way
Evidence, not vibes
A full stop, the stop position and whether you looked are scored separately from what your car actually did, and replayed so you can see it.
Straight from the handbook
Every question cites the handbook section it rests on, and keeps law apart from official safety advice so you know which is which.
Honest about the test
Practice lengths and numbers are labelled as ours. NCDMV sets the real test, and nothing here is an official test question or a pass guarantee.
