An industrial process changes to a different solvent. What is the best reason to reassess the air-sampling plan?
- AEvery solvent necessarily has the same exposure characteristics.
- BA previous sample guarantees all future exposure levels.
- The contaminant and exposure profile may have changed.
- DThe calendar alone determines whether new hazards exist.

Why C is correct
Sampling must address the current exposure. Process changes can alter the analyte, concentration and timing; an arbitrary annual interval does not establish representativeness.
