Why this is the answer
Under N.J.A.C. 11:17-3.6C, every resident producer must complete 24 credits of DOBI-approved continuing education during each biennial compliance period, including a required 3 credits of ethics. Credits must be earned before the renewal date; failure to comply results in non-renewal and reinstatement penalties. Producers transacting personal lines satisfy CE through any approved P&C-eligible courses; there is no separate PL-only CE track because NJ has no separate PL license.
