How many hours of continuing education, including ethics, must a Georgia P&C producer complete every two years to renew their license?

A15 hours total with 1 ethics hour
24 hours total with 3 ethics hours
C20 hours total with 2 ethics hours
D40 hours total with 4 ethics hours

Why this is the answer

Under O.C.G.A. § 33-23-18 and Rule 120-2-3-.15, a resident licensee licensed for less than 20 years must complete 24 hours of approved continuing education in each two-year license period, at least 3 of them in ethics, before the license expires at the end of the licensee's birth month. The hours may be taken in any line for which the licensee is licensed. Licensees continually licensed for 20 years or more need 20 hours (still 3 in ethics), and holders of certain designations may qualify for a reduced requirement.
