Does EstatePass satisfy my state’s pre-licensing requirement?
No. Where a state requires approved pre-licensing hours, you need an approved provider — ExamFX, Kaplan, WebCE, A.D. Banker, or XCEL all qualify. EstatePass is the exam-prep layer that sits on top, and in states with no hours requirement it is all you need.
Why did Pocket Prep stop offering insurance prep?
They exited the category. As of August 2026, Pocket Prep lists 154 exams across nine categories, none of them insurance, and its old life-insurance URLs redirect or 404. That left no cheap app-style subscription in this market until now.
How does the ExamFX pass guarantee work?
You must score 80% or higher on their Readiness Exam and then fail the real licensing exam within three days of doing so, with some restrictions. It is a genuine refund — just not an unconditional one, and it does not apply if you never take their Readiness Exam.
Can I use both?
That is a common and sensible combination: buy the state course you legally need, and drill on the subscription without watching a 60-day clock. The state hours and the question volume are different problems.
