Why D is correct
The stated conditions trigger the 5-foot horizontal-earth separation requirement. Section 603.2 separately addresses same-trench sewer materials listed in Table 702.2, a properly sleeved crossing extending 5 feet to each side of the sewer centerline, and a water-service bottom at least 12 inches above the sewer top. Do not describe the material rule merely as any pressure-rated pipe, add an unsupported mandatory shelf, or generalize this model-code rule to every jurisdiction or utility.
