- AA wet location
A wet location is one subject to saturation with water or other liquids, unprotected and exposed to weather, or underground and in direct contact with earth. The stem excludes all of those conditions.
- BA dry location
A dry location is not normally subject to dampness or wetness at all. Moderate moisture under an open porch rules it out.
- CA classified location
Classified locations are defined by the presence of flammable gases, vapors, dusts, or ignitible fibers. Moisture does not classify a location.
- A damp location
