Under 50 Ill. Adm. Code 3119 and IDOI's testing contract, PSI Services administers the Illinois producer pre-licensing examination at testing centers statewide and via online proctored delivery. Candidates must first complete pre-licensing education (7.5 hours general plus line-specific hours), then register with PSI, pay the exam fee, and pass with at least 70%. Pearson VUE, Prometric, and Kryterion proctor exams for other regulators but not IDOI.
