California Insurance Code § 100 divides insurance into statutory classes. Which of the following is one of those statutorily enumerated classes?
Why this is the answer
Ins. Code § 100 lists the statutory classes of insurance recognized in California, including life, fire, marine, title, surety, disability, plate glass, liability, workers' compensation, common carrier liability, boiler and machinery, burglary, credit, sprinkler, team and vehicle, automobile, aircraft, mortgage guaranty, insolvency, legal insurance, and miscellaneous (class 17 is reserved). Newer coverage categories like cyber, pet health, or identity theft are written under existing classes (typically 'miscellaneous' or 'liability') because the legislature has not added separate enumerated classes. See Ins. Code § 100.
