Convert your confirmed CPA appointment into study time

This guide covers CPA Australia. Use your own booked appointment—not just the semester window—to plan your study sessions. Confirm current dates and location-specific fees before enrolling.

A worked study example

If you have six weeks available and can keep four 45-minute sessions each week, you have 24 sessions, or 18 hours. Reserving the last four sessions for revision leaves 20 for new work. This is a capacity calculation, not a recommended total preparation time for a CPA subject.

What this does not tell you

A timetable does not reserve an exam seat, establish subject eligibility or include all membership and qualification costs. Allow for your experience, subject difficulty and missed sessions.

Your next study session

Turn a date into a realistic study routine

Start with a subject you are eligible to take, then plan backwards from your confirmed appointment. Leave room to review mistakes rather than spending every session on new questions.

  1. Confirm the subject and appointment through CPA Australia.
  2. List the study sessions you can consistently complete each week.
  3. Try a subject diagnostic and give extra sessions to the topics you missed.

Before you book

Are these dates for the US CPA exam?

No. This page concerns CPA Australia. Do not use these dates, fees or study materials to plan a US CPA exam.

Does paying EstatePass enrol me in a CPA Australia exam?

No. EstatePass is an independent practice service. Membership, subject enrolment and exam scheduling are handled separately with CPA Australia.

Is a published exam window my confirmed appointment?

No. Check your booked appointment and the official scheduling deadline. A semester window does not reserve a seat.
